Control valve does not weigh more than four pounds. Control\r\nvalve provides service and regeneration control for two media\r\ntanks. Inlet and outlet ports accept a quick connect, double\r\no-ring sealed adapter. Interconnection between tanks are made\r\nthrough the regeneration valve with a quick connect adapter.\r\nControl valve operates using a minimum inlet pressure of 15 psi.\r\nPressure is used to drive all valve functions. No electric hookup is required. Control valve incorporates four operational cycles\r\nincluding; service, brine draw, slow rinse, and a combined fast\r\nrinse and brine refill. Service cycle operates in an up-flow direction. The brine cycle flows down-flow, opposite the service flow,\r\nproviding a countercurrent regeneration. Control valve contains\r\na fixed orifice eductor nozzle and self-adjusting backwash flow\r\ncontrol. The control valve will prevent the bypass of hard water\r\nto service during the regeneration cycle.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n  \u003c\/div\u003e\r\n\u003c\/div\u003e\u003cdiv\u003e\r\n  \u003cdiv\u003e\r\n    \u003ch3\u003eMedia Tanks\u003c\/h3\u003e\r\n    \u003cp\u003eThe tanks are designed for a maximum working pressure of 125\r\npsi and hydrostatically tested at 300 psi. Tanks are made of engineered plastic with a 2.5 in. threaded top opening. Each tank\r\nis NSF approved. Upper distribution system is of a slot design.\r\nLower distribution system is of a flat plate design. The brine tank has a\r\nchamber to house the brine valve assembly. The brine float\r\nassembly allows for adjustable salt settings and provides for a\r\nshut-off to the brine refill. Brine\r\nsensor is mounted internally on the grid plate and operates on\r\nthe specific gravity of proper brine concentration. An alarm\r\ncondition is triggered when the concentration falls below acceptable level for more than 15 minutes. The alarm is both an\r\n80-db audible alarm every 3 seconds and a red LED flash every\r\n7 seconds.
