The HF40-S is a replacement cartridge for the ICE140-S water filtration system from 3M. This replacement cartridge includes a cartridge filter monitor and is specifically designed to reduce scale as well as bacteria, cyst, sediment, chlorine taste and odor. There is also a scale inhibitor in this replacement cartridge and it has a flow rate of up to 2.1 gallons per minute (7.9 liters per minute) and a 0.2 micron rating.
