Atosa USA sells four product lines. Every product on this page is listed under the Atosa brand, with the line name in the title where it applies.

About Atosa

Atosa USA, Inc. is headquartered at 201 N. Berry St., Brea, California. According to Atosa, it holds inventory in warehouses in nine states (California, Colorado, Texas, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey and Washington), including a location in Fairfield, New Jersey, and it sells through foodservice equipment dealers rather than directly to operators.

Atosa does not name its factories on its own website. In the U.S. ENERGY STAR database, every certified Atosa model lists Yindu Kitchen Equipment Co., Ltd. of Hangzhou, China as the certifying partner. Yindu is a commercial kitchen equipment maker listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange.

Atosa warranty: what the manufacturer covers

Warranty coverage comes from Atosa, not from the dealer, and it depends on the product line. The table summarizes Atosa's own published warranty documents.

Chest freezers, walk-ins, blast chillers and MixRite stainless steel have their own terms. Check the model's spec sheet or ask us before you buy.

Conditions to know before you file a claim

• Coverage starts on the date Atosa ships the unit, not the date you install it.
• Routine maintenance must be followed, such as keeping condenser coils clean, or the warranty is void.
• The warranty covers the original purchaser only and cannot be transferred.
• Damage from extension cords, low voltage or voltage drops is excluded.
• For a compressor claim, the failed compressor or its tag must be returned to Atosa.
• Food loss and other consequential damages are not covered.

Register your unit online with Atosa's product registration form (serial number and purchase date) and check claims on the warranty status page. Warranty service runs through Atosa's Smart Kitchen Service at 800-683-8660 or warranty@atosausa.com.

Some older spec sheets and other retailers still show Atosa's earlier 2-year refrigeration term. The August 2026 document linked above is the current one we found on atosausa.com.

ENERGY STAR, NSF and refrigerant

• As of October 2026, the ENERGY STAR database lists 54 Atosa models: 31 commercial refrigerators and freezers, 13 ice machines, 4 fryers, 4 ovens and 2 hot food holding cabinets.
• All 31 ENERGY STAR-listed Atosa refrigerators and freezers use R-290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant with a global warming potential of 3.
• Atosa walk-in coolers sold here use top-mount R448A refrigeration systems.
• Food-zone sanitation listings (NSF or ETL Sanitation) are model-specific. Check the certification marks on each model's spec sheet rather than assuming the whole line is covered.

How to read an Atosa model number

The letters at the start of an Atosa model number identify the product family:

Letters after the number mark variants of the same model, such as a left-hinged door. Gas type (natural gas or liquid propane), voltage and hinge side are spelled out in each listing title, so check the title for the exact configuration.

Is Atosa a good brand?

Atosa is a value-priced brand for operators who want stainless steel equipment without premium-brand pricing. Here is a balanced view.

• Broad catalog from one manufacturer, so a kitchen can match refrigeration, prep and cooking equipment.
• Current Atosa refrigeration carries a 3-year parts & labor and 5-year compressor warranty (August 2026 document).

• According to Atosa, refrigeration units ship with casters already installed.
• Regional stock in nine states, including New Jersey, which shortens lead times on the East Coast.

Things to plan for

• Replacement parts are sold through Parts Town (Atosa parts page). Ask about parts availability for older models before you buy.
• Warranty claims need the serial number, proof of purchase and proof of routine maintenance, and the warranty is voided if maintenance is skipped.
• Premium brands such as True and Turbo Air cost more. For a heavy-use location, compare capacity, energy use, warranty and parts support over the life of the unit, not just the purchase price.
