A 36" infrared cheesemelter that melts, browns and holds plates warm above the range line.
The Atosa CookRite ATCM-36 mounts on top of an Atosa 36" range (kit included) or on a wall with the optional kit, so it adds broiling power without taking counter space. Two ceramic infrared burners put out 21,500 BTU each (43,000 BTU total), and each side has its own valve, so you can run half the cheesemelter during slow periods. A removable broiler rack and crumb catcher make cleanup quick. This listing is the natural gas version.

The included range mount kit fits only Atosa 36" ranges. For any other range, or to hang it on a wall, use the wall mount kit 21208001048 and have a licensed gas installer connect it.

Will it mount on my range?
The included range mount kit fits only Atosa 36" ranges. For other ranges or a wall installation, Atosa sells wall mount kit 21208001048.
Is this the natural gas or propane version?
This listing is natural gas (NG), with the regulator at 5" W.C. Atosa uses the same model number, ATCM-36, for both gases, so the LP version is a separate listing. Order the one that matches your supply.
What gas connection does it need?
The intake tube has a 3/4" external thread (Atosa manual). Total input is 43,000 BTU/h, so your gas line must carry that on top of your other appliances.
What is the difference from a salamander broiler?
Both have the same two 21,500 BTU infrared burners. The CookRite ATSB-36 salamander adds a 4-position adjustable chrome rack and a 1-minute preheat rating; this cheesemelter has a fixed removable rack for melting, browning and holding.
What does the warranty cover?
Atosa CookRite gas equipment carries a 1-year parts and labor warranty from the date Atosa ships it, US only. Installation must be done correctly; damage from improper installation is not covered.
