Questions buyers ask
What outlet does it need?
A 220V, single phase NEMA L6-20P locking receptacle on a breaker-protected circuit. It draws 8 A (1.8 kW) and comes with a 118" cord. A standard 115V wall outlet will not work; have an electrician confirm the circuit before delivery.
How much soft serve does it make?
Coldline rates it at up to 28 quarts per hour from one 1.8 liter freezing cylinder, fed by gravity from an 11 liter hopper. It serves one flavor.
What can I serve from it?
Coldline lists soft serve from low or non-fat ice cream to custard, frozen yogurt and sorbet. The manual notes that mix varies by maker, so test your mix and keep at least 2 cm of mix in the hopper.
Will it fit on my counter?
It is 17.5" wide, 32" deep and 31.3" tall and weighs 231 lb., so the counter must carry that weight. The manual asks for at least 6" of clearance on all sides for the air-cooled system (another page says 200 mm at both sides); plan for the larger figure.
Does it keep mix overnight?
Yes. Standby mode holds the mix below 5°C (41°F) in the hopper and cylinder, and pre-cooling keeps the hopper mix cold between servings.
How do I clean it?
The manual walks through disassembly, lubricating the seals with food-grade lubricant, and sanitizing with 3.8 liters of a 100 PPM sanitizer solution run through the hopper and cylinder on the Wash setting.
What does the warranty cover?
