The Pegasus V2C-8G is a natural gas vertical broiler from the Vega series for gyro shops, Mediterranean and Mexican restaurants and food counters. It holds up to 100 lb of meat and cooks it with 34,120 BTU of ceramic infrared burners. The burner assembly slides on a rail so you can move it closer as the cone shrinks, and a 120V motor turns the spit in either direction.

Plan for a gas line with a shutoff and a standard 120V outlet within reach, and keep 12" free on the right side. Your local code may require it under a ventilation hood.

Questions buyers ask
How much meat does it hold?
Up to 100 lb. The smaller V2C-6G holds 80 lb and the larger V2C-10G holds 130 lb.
Can I use it with propane?
Yes. It ships for natural gas and is field convertible to LP at 10" WC; the LP conversion kit is included. Have a qualified gas installer do the conversion.
Does it need electricity?
Yes, for the 120V motor that turns the spit. Galaxy Group lists a NEMA 5-15P plug, which fits a standard outlet.
How close can it go to a wall?
Keep 1" on the left, 12" on the right and 3" at the back from non-combustible walls. The spec sheet gives no clearances for combustible walls.
What comes in the box?
A catch pan, a skewer set and the LP conversion kit, plus the large grease pan built into the base.
What does the warranty cover?
Pegasus gives a one-year limited warranty in the USA and Canada.
