The Hoshizaki R1A-HS is a Steelheart series one-section upright reach-in refrigerator with 2 half-height solid stainless doors, right hinged. It stores 23.1 cu. ft. (AHAM) on 3 adjustable epoxy-coated wire shelves. A top-mounted, self-contained refrigeration system (770 BTU/hr, 1/4 HP, R290) feeds a ducted airflow system, and a digital controller with alarms holds a setpoint from 31°F to 52°F. It plugs into a standard 115V outlet with a 10 ft. cord and NEMA 5-15P plug and draws 5 amps, and it is ENERGY STAR qualified.

A ducted air distribution system spreads cold air evenly through the cabinet to avoid hot spots. A thermostatic expansion valve meters the R290 refrigerant.

Doors are stainless steel inside and out with locks. A stepped design protects the recessed gasket, and snap-in magnetic gaskets pull out for cleaning.
