Federal Industries SG5948HD 59" High Volume Hot Deli Case, Three Heated Wells
The Federal Industries SG5948HD is a 59" high volume hot deli case with three heated wells, each sized for a full-size pan. Designed for wet or dry heat, it keeps prepared hot foods on display behind sloped, tempered glass in a 59-1/8" W x 35-5/16" D x 48" H cabinet. This heated deli case suits delis, grocery stores, convenience stores and carry-out counters.
Individually Controlled Heated Wells
Each one-piece stainless steel well has its own cal-rod heating element and its own thermostat, so each well is set on its own. Every well has its own drain and valve. A top-mounted, full-length infrared heater keeps product temperature even across the display. Incandescent lighting gives the food even illumination.
Sloped Glass With Moisture Control
The sloped, tempered front glass tilts out for cleaning, and the top, ends and doors are tempered glass too. Removable sliding rear doors have moisture vents, and a forced-air front-glass defogger works with them to prevent excess moisture buildup, so customers keep a clear view of the food.
Construction & Electrical
The case comes with a stainless steel deck, a rear wrapping board for staff, and black trim. The steel base is offered in six standard laminate finishes, with other finishes optional. It is designed for continuous line-ups without middle end glass. It operates on 120/208-240V single-phase power and draws 19.6 amps on a 3-wire plus ground connection. Shipping weight is 660 lbs. The case is UL Safety and UL Sanitation listed.
Options & Accessories
Options listed on the spec sheet include a package shelf, a scale platform, a white top cutting board, reflective ends, legs, and a special base finish. A joining kit links cases in a continuous line-up.
