The Equipex GL2-5000DIR is a Geoline Lynx two-hob drop-in induction cooker with two 8" coils under a 4 mm vitroceramic glass top and an integral flush-mount stainless steel frame. A remote microswitch touch panel with a Lexan cover sets 20 power levels per zone, with power boost and a 99-minute timer. It runs on 208/240V single phase, 21/24 A, with a NEMA L6-30P plug. A recessed remote panel is standard; a slanted surface-mount panel is optional.
Do not install it in a fully enclosed cabinet; the unit needs fresh air below the counter.
Two 8" coils sit under one 27-1/2" glass top, so a single counter cutout gives two cooking zones.
Microswitch touch controls under a Lexan cover sit in the counter apron, away from spills and heat.
Each zone has 20 power levels, a power boost feature and a 99-minute timer.
An integral stainless steel mounting frame sits flush with the counter for easy wiping.
Pan detection, power supply monitor, empty pan and overheating protection, small article protection and oil auto-ignition shutoff.
