A stainless steel vertical broiler that roasts up to 33 lb. of gyro, shawarma or chicken on one spit with independently controlled heat zones.
The Equipex GR 40E Olympus is a Sodir/Roller Grill electric gyro grill for roasting veal, lamb or chicken on a vertical spit. It holds up to 33 lb. of meat and has 2 independently controlled heating zones with 3 cal-rod elements and ceramic stones in a movable heater housing. The heavy-duty spit lifts out for loading, and a one-piece stamped grease pan with a removable drawer collects drippings. It runs on 208/240V 1-phase, 3.6 kW, 15/18 A.
Have a 208/240V single-phase NEMA L6-30 twist-lock receptacle on its own circuit ready.
One spit carries up to 33 lb. of meat for busy gyro, shawarma or chicken service.
2 heating zones with 3 elements, each switched between Max, Min and Off, so you heat only the height of the cone.
Slide the heater housing toward or away from the meat to control roasting and slicing.
Ceramic stones in the heater help hold and spread the heat.
One-piece stamped grease pan with a removable drawer, and a spit that lifts out for loading and cleaning.

Equipex lists a meat shovel, bottom splash extensions, side heat deflectors, glass doors, an extra spit and a kebab attachment. Glass doors and side heat deflectors can not be used together.

Equipex gives a limited one-year parts and labor warranty from the date of purchase, with repairs by an authorized service agency.
