The Hatco CSBFP-36-F is a self-contained cold shelf that drops into a countertop cutout and sits flush with the top. A copper evaporator coil under the hardcoat aluminum surface chills it edge to edge, and an attached 1/5 HP condensing unit runs on R-290 refrigerant. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug, and the electronic control box can hang up to 4 ft. away on its lead wire.

An attached 1/5 HP condensing unit uses R-290 refrigerant, 3.1 oz. factory fill. Hatco states R-290 absorbs heat 90% better than other refrigerants for faster recovery and lower energy use.
A patented thermal break cuts condensation and cold transfer onto the countertop around the shelf.
The top-mounted hardcoat aluminum surface matches the Hatco GRSBF heated built-in shelves. Always set food in pans; do not put food straight on the surface.
An electronic temperature control box with on/off switch comes on a 4 ft. lead wire, so it can mount on the cabinet front away from the shelf. Hatco presets it to 25°F and auto-defrost can be set on site.
