A drop-in cold plate that keeps pre-chilled drinks, snacks and sides cold on 2 full-size sheet pans at the serving line.
The Hatco FTBP-2 is a self-contained drop-in frost top for a 2-pan serving counter. Its NSF 7 component cold wall keeps pre-chilled food cold without drying it out, and the recessed walls keep sheet pans from sliding. An attached condensing unit with R-290 refrigerant does the cooling, and an electronic temperature controller with auto-defrost mounts on either side of the condensing unit or up to 4 ft away. It runs on 120V and plugs in with a 6 ft cord and NEMA 5-15P plug.
Cut the counter to the cutout range, not the outside size: the frost top drops in and its rim rests on the counter.
The cold wall construction keeps food product cold without drying it out.
Recessed walls hold 2 full-size 18" x 26" sheet pans or half-size 18" x 13" sheet pans and stop them from sliding.
