A heated glass merchandiser that shows every wrapped hot item at once and keeps it warm from above and below.
The Hatco Glo-Ray GR3SDH-27D is the 27-inch horizontal heated glass merchandising warmer with a hardcoated heated base and two heated glass shelves above it. Hatco's patented heated glass radiates heat down onto the food below while conducting heat up to the food on the shelf, so customers see every choice at once. It plugs into a 120V outlet with a NEMA 5-15P plug and draws 14.7 amps.
Leave 3" behind it for the back wall and plan for about 147 lb. shipping weight on the counter.
Each glass shelf radiates heat down onto the product below and conducts heat up to the product on top, so the full display stays warm.
The heated base and each heated glass shelf have their own control knob, from room temperature to about 185°F to 200°F.
Hatco notes the top shelf can show short-term held food where serving temperature is not critical, adding capacity on the same counter space.
LED lights show the food and switch on and off separately from the heat.
Designer Black powder coat with IFS anti-microbial coating is standard. Six colors and a stainless steel body are options.
15 product divider rods and tempered glass side panels keep packaged items in lanes.
Hot wrapped or boxed food that is already heated to a safe temperature. Food must be wrapped, boxed or on a pan on the hardcoat base, and only wrapped or boxed product goes on the glass shelf.
A grounded 120V receptacle for the NEMA 5-15P plug. It draws 1769 watts and 14.7 amps. Hatco's Canadian model uses a NEMA 5-20P plug.
The base and each glass shelf set from room temperature to about 185°F to 200°F with separate knobs on the back control panel. Allow 30 minutes to heat up.
Hatco says to leave at least 3" from the back of the unit to a back wall, and to avoid fans, hoods, air conditioning ducts and exterior doors.
Designer Black is standard. Warm Red, Gray Granite, White Granite, Navy Blue, Hunter Green and Antique Copper are factory colors, plus a stainless steel body and base. Sneeze guards, plexi-glass flip-up doors, plexi-glass end panels and shelf sign holders are factory options; 4" adjustable legs and extra divider rods are accessories.
The GR3SD manual lists a limited warranty of 1 year from purchase or 18 months from shipment, and covers the unit against breakage and burnout for one year. Bulbs, LED tubes, glass and fuses are excluded.
