A 96-inch stainless steel high watt strip heater that holds plated food and pass-through orders at serving temperature.
The Hatco GRH-96 is the high watt model of the Glo-Ray Infrared Stainless Steel Strip Heater: 2400 watts from a tubular metal-sheathed element in a 96" W x 6" D x 2.75" H stainless housing. Its pre-focused heat pattern covers the entire holding surface with no cold spots. It is built for one voltage, 208 or 240V single phase, set at order, and comes with four stainless steel mounting tabs, a toggle switch on the chef's left and 3 ft. of conduit with leads.
Hatco units are voltage-specific. Order the voltage that matches your circuit and check the specification label before wiring.
The Glo-Ray reflector directs heat from a tubular element across the entire holding surface, so food holds at serving temperature with no cold spots.
High watt models put out more heat than the standard GR-96 for higher mounting, 11" to 14" above the food.
The stainless housing has heavy-duty insulation to minimize heat loss. The reflector does not blacken, keeping the heat pattern consistent.
A reinforced wire guard protects operators without affecting heat distribution.
Factory assembled with four stainless steel shelf mounting tabs. Tubular stands, chain suspension and adjustable angle brackets are available.
It runs on single-phase 208 or 240V, set when you order. At 2400 watts it draws 208V 11.5 A or 240V 10.0 A. Hatco does not offer this size in 120V.
No. The 96" model is 208 or 240V only and has no cord option. It is hardwired through 3 ft. of conduit with leads on the server's right.
Yes. A toggle switch, max. 15 amps, is standard on the chef's left. A built-in infinite control (max. 12.2 amps) or remote toggle or infinite switches can be ordered at time of purchase.
Hatco recommends 11" to 14" above the food for high watt models. Near combustibles keep 13.5" to the surface below, 3" to the back wall and 1" below an overshelf.

Hatco's limited warranty runs 18 months from shipment or product registration, whichever is later. Hatco lists metal-sheathed food warmer elements at 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Register within 90 days of shipment.
