A drop-in round well that keeps a 7-quart pan of soup, sauce or sides hot, wet or dry.
The Hatco HWB-7QTD is an uninsulated, standard-watt round heated well for one 7 qt. (7 L) round pan. A self-adjusting thermostat in a remote control box reads the actual well temperature and adds heat only when needed, and a separate lighted switch keeps the dial setting between shifts. It has a 3/4" NPT drain with a flat screen for quick emptying. Order it for 120V, 208V or 240V, single phase.
Combustible countertops need Hatco's accessory mounting kit and a square cutout instead of the round one.
Holds one 7 qt. (7 L) round pan, sold separately. Hatco designs its built-in wells for wet or dry operation and recommends wet operation for consistent heating.
The thermostat monitors the actual well temperature and adds heat only when needed. A separate lighted On/Off rocker switch keeps the dial setting.
The 3/4" NPT drain with flat screen empties water quickly and keeps the pan level.
The compact control box mounts away from the well on a 3 ft. conduit, front or back mounted, with or without its bezel.
EZ locking hardware speeds top-mount installation; a mounting kit allows combustible countertops.
Heating elements and thermostats are easy to reach for service.

Order 120V (500 W, 4.2 A), 208V (536 W, 2.6 A) or 240V (600 W, 2.5 A), single phase. Specify voltage when ordering.
It is hardwired as standard. A factory cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug is an option on 120V units, in place of the conduit and lead wire.
Yes. Do not let a wet well run dry or add water to a well that has been running dry; Hatco notes either will damage the unit.
Standard is the compact thermostatic control. Options at order include a larger recessed thermostatic box, a WM control assembly, an ITC electronic control, a 6 ft. capillary thermostat and Designer color bezels.
One year parts and on-site labor is standard, plus a second year of parts-only coverage on the metal sheathed heating element.
