The Hatco HWBI-43D is an insulated drop-in heated well sized for a 12" x 27" (4/3-size) opening. It holds four third-size pans, a full-size pan plus a third-size pan, two half-size pans plus a third-size pan, or two 11-quart round pans with an adapter top. A remote thermostat with a separate lighted power switch sets the temperature. A 3/4" NPT drain with a flat drain screen makes it easy to empty. It is rated 1200 watts and is ordered in 120, 208 or 240V, single phase.
The remote control box connects on a 36" flexible conduit; mount it at least 6" from the well.
The insulated stainless and aluminized steel well holds more than a full-size pan and keeps holding temperatures more consistent.

In a non-combustible countertop, 12.69" to 12.94" wide by 27.69" to 28" deep. A combustible top needs the Hatco mounting kit and a 14" to 14-1/4" by 29" to 29-1/4" cutout.

A compact thermostat with bezel is standard. Larger recessed thermostatic or WM assembly controls are options, and the ITC electronic control is offered on units with a drain. Choose at order.
Hatco's limited warranty lists heated well elements for the HW, HWB and HWBI series at 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Parts not listed carry Hatco's standard 18-month limited warranty. Register the unit with Hatco to avoid delays in warranty coverage.
