Nemco 6150-36-DL-240 36" Dual Infrared Strip Heater with Lights, 1780W, On/Off Toggle, 240V
A 36-inch dual infrared strip heater that holds plated and panned food at serving temperature under showcase lights at the pass or on the line.
The Nemco 6150-36-DL-240 is a 36" dual infrared strip heater with lights from the 6150 series, the line with a simple on/off toggle switch. It draws 1780 watts at 240 volts (7.4 amps) and has two heating strips in one housing. The clear-anodized aluminum extrusion housing has an aluminized steel reflector that directs the heat down onto the food. Showcase lights brighten the food under the heater. It is hardwired by a licensed electrician and hangs from the brackets that come with it. Nemco suggests it for French fries, rice dishes, baked potatoes, fried chicken, pizza and large pans of food.
Measure the pass: the unit needs 36" of length plus 9" from each end to a wall, and should hang over a non-combustible surface.
Nemco designs its strip heaters to hold food at serving temperature without drying or overcooking. It also works as a plate or cup warmer.
The 6150 series uses a simple on/off toggle switch, and an indicator light shows when the unit is on.
A durable, lightweight clear-anodized aluminum extrusion protects the finish, and the aluminized steel reflector sends the heat down onto the food.
The dual housing is 15-3/4" wide with two heating strips, for a larger heat zone than a single 36" unit.
Built-in showcase lights with shatter-resistant bulbs add visual appeal to the food under the heater.
The unit arrives with mounting brackets for hanging. Nemco offers the 66099 wire leg kit, 16" tall, for counter use.
240 volts, 1780 watts, 7.4 amps, as Nemco lists it. It is hardwired: a licensed electrician wires it to a grounded circuit to local codes.
Nemco calls for at least 16" between the bottom of the unit and the counter, 9" between each end and a wall, 12" between each side and a wall, and 1-7/8" above the top of the unit.

In Nemco's 6150 numbering, -D is a dual unit, -SL a single with lights, -DL a dual with lights, -208 and -240 are the 208V and 240V versions, and -CP adds a factory-installed cord and plug to the 120V models. This 6150-36-DL-240 is the dual with lights 240V version.
Turn it off and let it cool. Wipe the housing and reflector with a damp sponge and soap solution. Do not immerse it in water or splash water into it.
