Summit CSD4B300 30" Solid Disk Electric Cooktop, 4 Cast Iron Burners, Stainless Steel, 230V
Description
A 30-inch built-in cooktop with 4 sealed cast iron solid disk elements on a brushed stainless steel top, for 230V.
The Summit CSD4B300 is a 30" wide built-in electric cooktop with 4 solid disk elements made of cast iron. Summit notes that solid disks spread heat evenly and hold heat longer than coil or glass elements, which helps keep food warm before serving. The elements total 5,500W on a 230V supply, and the brushed stainless steel surface is easy to wipe down. Summit names hotels, mobile homes, tiny houses and other small kitchens as typical uses.

Delivery and setup
- Inspect the box for damage before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
- No power cord is supplied. Summit's manual calls for a licensed electrician: hardwire the cooktop or use a 3- or 4-conductor UL-listed cord kit from an electrical supplier.
- Cut the counter to 28.5" W x 19.75" D and radius the cutout corners (1/4" is typical) to prevent cracking.
- Ventilate the space below the counter and keep 2" between the cooktop pan and anything combustible, such as the top of a drawer.
- Summit lists a shipping weight of 28 lb.
