Walk-in cooler condensing units

A remote condensing unit contains the compressor and condenser assembly. It works with a separate compatible evaporator. Compare model-specific refrigerant, voltage, phase and temperature ratings before purchasing.

Evaporator coils & unit coolers

What is included in a walk-in cooler refrigeration unit?

This collection includes three different equipment types: self-contained packaged systems, remote condensing units and evaporator coils. A packaged system combines the refrigeration components in one assembly. A condensing unit or evaporator listing is a separate component, not a complete system. Check the individual model’s included equipment. Walk-in room panels and doors are not included.

Is a walk-in cooler compressor the same as a condensing unit?

No. The compressor is one component of a condensing unit. A condensing unit combines the compressor with a condenser and other equipment specified for that model. If you are searching for a walk-in cooler compressor or condenser, the condensing units in this collection are assemblies, not listings for a bare replacement compressor.

Can I use a walk-in cooler unit for a freezer?

Cooler and freezer applications require equipment rated for their operating temperatures. Use the System Temperature filter to compare medium- and low-temperature models where available, then check the exact model specifications. A cooler refrigeration unit should not be assumed to work as a walk-in freezer unit.

What is the difference between indoor and outdoor refrigeration units?

Indoor models are designed for indoor installation conditions. Outdoor models have model-specific provisions for exterior use. Use the Installation Location filter and check the manufacturer’s ambient operating limits, clearances and installation instructions on the product page.

Which specifications can I compare before ordering?

Compare equipment type, cooling capacity, system temperature, voltage, phase, installation location and refrigerant. Evaporator profile, defrost type and compressor type apply to the relevant equipment. BTU/h ratings depend on rating conditions; compare the stated conditions as well as the number. Are these complete walk-in cooler rooms?

How much is shipping, and where do you deliver?

Shipping is $500 per order within the contiguous United States. We do not sell these products for delivery to Alaska or Hawaii. Liftgate and other additional delivery services require confirmation. Many models ship from Atlantic stock; other models ship directly from the factory. See the product page for shipping information.

Do these Turbo Air products have a factory warranty?

Atlantic is an authorized Turbo Air dealer. These products carry factory warranty coverage under the applicable model’s terms. SMART 7 systems and remote components have different coverage; see the Warranty section on the individual product page.
