The Serv-Ware PG1423 is a 14" x 23" portable griddle plate that sits on the burners of a commercial range. It is 7 gauge (0.18") steel with a 3/4" lip on the sides to keep grease and food on the plate, and a handle at each end for lifting it on and off. Serv-Ware lists it as compatible with its SGR-2B-24G, SGR-4B, SGR-4B-12G, SGR-6B, SGR-6B-C, SGR-6B-24G, SGR-10B, SHPS-12, SHPS-24 and SHPS-36 ranges and the sheet carries the NSF mark.

Serv-Ware lists SGR-2B-24G, SGR-4B, SGR-4B-12G, SGR-6B, SGR-6B-C, SGR-6B-24G, SGR-10B, SHPS-12, SHPS-24 and SHPS-36. For another brand, check that the plate size fits over the grates.
Does it need a gas line?
No. It has no burners; it sits on the range and is heated by the burners underneath.
Is it stainless steel?
Serv-Ware's sheet describes it both as "7GA Steel" and as "7 Gauge Stainless Steel"; the stainless version was sold as model PG1423S. Call us if you need a confirmed stainless plate.
What does the warranty cover?
Serv-Ware covers defects in material and workmanship for 1 year from installation, up to 18 months from shipment, in the US and for commercial use only. Labor is not included.
