The Serv-Ware SGR-4B-12G is a 36" gas restaurant range for restaurants, diners and cafes that need burners and a flat-top on one unit. It has four 30,000 BTU open burners under removable 12" x 12" heavy duty cast grates, a 12" griddle, and a standard oven with 31,000 BTU U-shaped burners, each taking a full-size sheet pan side-to-side or front-to-back. It is built for natural gas and supplied with an LP conversion kit, and it carries the Intertek ETL marks.

Measure doorways and turns on the delivery path; its smallest outside dimension is the 32.6" depth. Plan for a 3/4" gas connection and a ventilation hood as your local code requires. Serv-Ware does not publish the griddle burner rating or clearances to combustible walls on the spec sheet.

Questions buyers ask
Does it run on propane?
It is built for natural gas and comes with an LP conversion kit. Have a qualified gas technician convert it; LP runs at 10" W.C. and natural gas at 4" W.C.
What gas connection does it need?
A 3/4" gas line. The open burners are 30,000 BTU each and the oven burner is 31,000 BTU; Serv-Ware does not publish the griddle burner rating, so ask your installer to size the supply with the data plate.
Will a full-size sheet pan fit in the oven?
Yes. A full-size sheet pan fits side-to-side or front-to-back, and the thermostat runs from 250°F to 550°F.
Will it fit through my door?
The range is 36" wide, 32.6" deep and 60" high to the top of the high shelf, and ships at 540 lbs. Measure every doorway and turn; its smallest outside dimension is the 32.6" depth.
Do I need a hood?
Commercial gas ranges are installed under a ventilation hood in most jurisdictions. Check with your local code official and installer.
Is it ETL listed?
The spec sheet carries the Intertek ETL marks (cETLus and ETL Sanitation).
What does the warranty cover?
Serv-Ware covers parts and labor on the entire unit for 1 year from installation (up to 18 months from shipment), in the United States and for commercial use only. Labor must be done by a qualified gas appliance service company accepted by Serv-Ware.
