The Amerikooler QF080882F is an AK Series 3 Quick Ship walk-in freezer measuring 8' x 8' x 8' 2-1/2" outside, with 7' 6-1/2" of headroom inside on its insulated aluminum floor. It is the indoor version, for a kitchen, back room or warehouse. This is the box only: panels, floor, door and accessory package, with no refrigeration system. You add a freezer system sized for the box. Walls and ceiling are 4 in. AK-XPS panels rated R-32 for freezers.
The box is assembled on site from modular panels cut 47 in. or 23 in. wide. Amerikooler's guide calls for a dry, swept and level floor before assembly.
You get the insulated panels, floor, door and standard accessories. Pick a self-contained or remote freezer system that suits the box and your site.
4 in. extruded polystyrene (DuPont Styrofoam brand XPS) insulation is rated R-32 for freezers and carries a 50-year DuPont thermal warranty. Panels are Acrylume coated, stucco embossed Galvalume inside and out.
A flush 30 in. or 36 in. wide by 76 in. high door with 2 Performer lift-off spring assisted hinges, a Safeguard deadbolt keyed latch that takes a padlock, an interior safety release and a spring door closer. A pre-wired, heated pressure relief vent is mounted on the freezer door jamb.
A vapor-proof LED light sits on the inside door jamb, with a digital LED thermometer and on/off pilot light switch. The smooth aluminum floor is rated 600 lb per sq ft of uniformly distributed load, for foot traffic.
Panels lock together with cam-action fasteners and an NSF compression gasket for airtight joints. A hex wrench is provided, and assembly starts with the floor panels.
