A small jar with a twisting scraper lid for the thickest blends on your menu.
Blendtec part 40-711-15 is a Twister jar. Its patented Twister lid has scrapers that pull dense, thick ingredients away from the jar wall and back into the blade while you twist the lid during the blend. Blendtec built it for smaller, tougher recipes such as acai bowls, thick milkshakes, nut butters and hummus. The jar is Eastman Tritan and NSF approved.
Scrapers on the lid move thick ingredients back into the blade as you twist, so less is left on the walls.
Marks run up to 16 oz. or 2 cups, sized for single servings and smaller, stubborn recipes.
Blendtec blunt blade technology is stronger than traditional sharp blades.
The 1.3 lb. jar is made from durable Tritan.

Add the ingredients, put the Twister lid on and twist it while the blender runs. The scrapers pull thick ingredients off the wall and back into the blade.
Add hot water and 1 to 2 drops of liquid dish soap, put the lid on, and pulse for 5 to 10 seconds on the blender base. Rinse the jar and lid with water. To sanitize, fill with sanitizer diluted per local code, leave 5 minutes, empty and rinse.
