Blodgett 901-BASE 51" Gas Deck Oven Section Only, One 12" Deck, 1 Sheet Pan, 22,000 BTU, Replacement Section
Description
A replacement 901 deck oven section for kitchens that already run a Blodgett 900 Series 901 stack.
The Blodgett 901-BASE is the 901 oven section by itself: one 12" high, 33" x 22" baking compartment, a 22,000 BTU/hr gas burner and a 200-500°F thermostat. Blodgett describes it as a base section (oven only) intended to replace an existing 901. Choose natural gas or LP and the thermostat when you order; it needs no electrical connection.

Built like a battleship
A full angle-iron frame and welded stainless steel front, top, sides and back carry the weight of stacked sections for years of daily use.
Simple, reliable heat
A free-floating duplex-tube burner and liquid-pressure thermostat heat the deck directly; the gas valves sit behind a ventilated front burner door for easy service.
Steel deck, stone optional
The 12-gauge press-formed aluminized steel deck suits breads, pans and roasts; a QHT Rokite pizza deck and a 300-650°F FDTH thermostat are available as options.
Easy on the operator
Counterbalanced doors with concealed hinges open without springs, and burner doors open for lighting, cleaning or adjustment without removing any fasteners.
Matches your stack
The section has the same 51" x 28-1/2" body as the 901 it replaces, and Blodgett intends it as a replacement for that section; tell us the model and serial number of your oven so we can confirm the match before ordering.
Delivery and setup

Questions buyers ask
Does it need electricity?
No. The 900 Series gas deck ovens need no electrical connection; each section has a gas burner with a safety pilot and a liquid-pressure thermostat.
What gas connection does it need?
A 3/4" NPT gas line sized for 22,000 BTU/hr. Inlet pressure is 7" to 10.5" W.C. on natural gas and 11" to 13" W.C. on propane. Choose the gas type when you order.
Will it fit through my door?
Blodgett lists a minimum entry clearance of 23-1/4" uncrated and 37" in the crate. Measure every door and turn on the delivery path before ordering.
How is it vented?
The section keeps the venting of your existing stack. Blodgett deck ovens are vented under a canopy hood with a draft diverter or with a 6" direct flue; keep 6" clearance on the sides, back and bottom.
How much does it hold?
Each 12" compartment takes 1 full-size 18" x 26" sheet pan.
Can I bake pizza in it?
Yes. Order the optional QHT Rokite pizza deck and the FDTH 300-650°F thermostat. With the standard steel deck it is set up for baking and roasting at 200-500°F.
What is included with a BASE section?
Blodgett describes the 901-BASE as a base section, oven only, intended to replace an existing 901. Complete ovens add legs, a draft diverter or direct vent and crown angle trim; tell us what your current stack has and we will confirm what you need.
What does the warranty cover?
Blodgett gives a 2-year parts and 1-year labor warranty, plus a 5-year limited warranty on the oven door. Damage from improper venting is not covered, according to Blodgett's manual.
