Champion DH-6000-VHR Ventless Heat Recovery Door-Type Dishwasher, High Temp, Built-In Booster, 40 Racks/Hr
Description
A high-temp door machine that recovers its own heat and runs on a cold water line.
The Champion DH-6000-VHR is a high-temperature hood-type door machine with ventless heat recovery and condensate removal. It feeds from a cold water line, heats its own 180°F final rinse with the built-in 7.5 kW booster, and Champion rates it at 40 racks per hour using 0.73 gallons per rack. NSF dual rating covers it as both a dish machine and a pot and pan machine.

Plan ceiling and hood height for the 72" side-view height, and leave 24" in front for service. A corner install needs tables that meet at 31" x 31".
Ventless heat recovery
Heat recovery with condensate removal lets it run on a 3/4" cold water line at 50°F to 75°F. A door interlock keeps the hood closed during the cycle to limit condensation entering the dish room.
Built-in 7.5 kW booster
Rinse Sentry extends the wash until the booster reaches sanitizing temperature, then rinses at 180°F.
Four wash cycles
Pick 1, 2, 4 or 6 minute wash cycles. The 1 minute cycle is dishwasher mode; 2, 4 and 6 minutes are pot and pan mode, with totals of 90, 150, 270 and 390 seconds.
Touchscreen with diagnostics
The touchscreen shows condition alerts and multi-lingual cleaning and operating guidance, with on-board service diagnostics and a cycle counter.
Field convertible
Convert from three phase to single phase power on site, and set the feed for front load, corner or pass-through.
Saves energy when idle
Programmable sleep mode powers down the heaters after a set period, and the delime function alerts at intervals you set for your water.
Delivery and setup
- Free shipping on this item. See our shipping policy for delivery details.

Questions buyers ask
Do I need a vent hood?
Champion lists the DH-6000-VHR as ventless, with heat recovery and condensate removal built in. Local codes differ, so confirm with your inspector before you plan the room.
Do I need a separate booster heater?
No. A 7.5 kW electric booster is built in, and Rinse Sentry holds the cycle until the final rinse reaches 180°F.
What water line does it need?
A 3/4" NPT cold water line at 50°F to 75°F with 45 PSI dynamic incoming pressure. A water PRV is standard on machines with a booster.
What electrical service does it need?
With the standard single-point connection: 208-240/60/1 at 72-81 A on a 100 A circuit, 208-240/60/3 at 48-50 A on a 60 A circuit, or 480/60/3 at 21 A on a 30 A circuit.
What does the two-point connection change?
The machine and booster get separate circuits. At 208-240V single phase the machine draws 36-39 A on a 50 A circuit and the booster 36-42 A on a 50 A circuit; the spec table lists three phase and 480V.
Can it run as a corner or straight-through machine?
Yes. Choose corner or straight-through on this page; Champion also makes the feed field convertible for front load, corner and pass-through.
What water hardness does it need?
Champion asks for water hardness below 3.5 grains per gallon. If your water is harder, plan a water softener or treatment before the machine goes in.
Do you match lower prices?
Yes. Champion equipment carries our Best Price Guarantee. Found it lower? Send us the lower price with a quote request or call us, and we will match it.
