A pass-through washer that scrubs 20 sheet pans, pots and utensils at a time for bakeries and big kitchens.
The Champion PP-20-PT is a door-type pot, pan and utensil washer with two counter-balanced lift-up doors worked by a single handle. A 15 HP pump drives 250 gallons a minute at 35 to 45 PSI through stainless steel spray arms, recirculating water from a 50 gallon wash tank. A separate 10 gallon rinse tank with its own booster heater gives a 180°F to 190°F fresh water sanitizing rinse.
Measure the delivery path and ceiling: the cabinet is 66" wide and 36-1/4" deep, and fittings and open doors stand taller than the cabinet. Plan inlet and outlet tables for the pass-through.
Standard bakery racks: 2 utensil baskets with 2 hold-down lids and 2 bun/sheet pan racks for 10 pans each. Champion builds racks to suit your wares.
A 15 HP pump moves 250 GPM at 35 to 45 PSI through water-driven stainless spray arms with quick-release end caps.
The 10 gallon rinse tank with a 12 kW booster delivers a 180°F to 190°F rinse and uses 6.3 gallons per 30 second cycle at 20 PSI.
Push pad Short, Medium or Long wash cycles, a time-remaining display, an unload buzzer and error codes for troubleshooting.
A double perforated stainless filter basket cleans without draining the tank, and an external rinse hose with spray gun handles pre-rinse and wash down.
Two counter-balanced lift doors open with one handle and are interlocked so the machine stops when they open.
Yes. The rinse tank booster heats a fresh water sanitizing rinse to 180°F to 190°F. Supply water should be 120°F at 20 PSI.
With electric wash and booster heat: 208/60/3 at 124 A, 175 A minimum breaker; 240/60/3 at 110 A, 150 A minimum breaker; 480/60/3 at 56 A, 70 A minimum breaker. Champion also lists 575V.
Choose on this page. Electric is standard. With steam wash and booster heat the electrical load drops to 41 A at 208/60/3 and the machine uses 105 lb. of steam per hour at 15 PSI minimum.
It has a steam exhaust vent, 12-7/8" I.D. collar for PVC pipe, and an optional steam extraction fan. Duct it as your local code requires.
Champion asks for water hardness below 3.5 grains per gallon. If your water is harder, plan a water softener or treatment before the machine goes in.
