The CookTek HRF-9500-SH18-1 is a freestanding countertop induction cooktop with a single induction hob and the Helios Standard control panel. Each hob delivers up to 1800 watts through heavy-gauge Litz wire under an easy-to-clean glass-ceramic top, and the temperature range runs from 85 to 425°F. You can cook by temperature or by power percentage. It runs on 100-120 VAC single phase and plugs into a NEMA 5-15 receptacle.
Check that a NEMA 5-15 receptacle on a dedicated 100-120V circuit is within reach of the 6 ft. cord.
Use Temperature Mode to hold a set temperature from 85 to 425°F, or Power Mode when you need high heat or a quick temperature rise.

Automatic pan detection sends energy only when a pan is in place, and automatic shut-off prevents overheating.
Microprocessors watch for overheating and power-supply problems, and an integral fan, grease filter and air baffle keep intake air cool and clean.
The flat glass-ceramic top wipes clean with a mild detergent or cooktop cream; the grease filter comes out for cleaning every two weeks.
100-120 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single phase, with a NEMA 5-15P plug on a 6 ft. cord. CookTek requires a dedicated circuit.
Induction-compatible (magnetic) cookware only. CookTek's troubleshooting guide lists pans under 7" across as a cause of uneven heating.
Leave 2" on the front, sides and rear. Next to a grill or stove, put a divider 6" from the unit; next to a fryer, 12".
Unplug it and let it cool, then wipe the top and body with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Do not use oven cleaner or immerse it. Remove and clean the grease filter every two weeks.
CookTek lists a two-year advanced replacement warranty in the U.S. and Canada. Under its Advance Replacement Program, CookTek ships a replacement unit ahead and includes a prepaid label to return the defective one.
