CookTek HTF-9500-WK25-1 Helios Touch Countertop Induction Wok, 2500W, 208-240V
Description
A countertop induction wok station that puts 2,500 watts into a curved glass-ceramic bowl with no open flame.
The CookTek HTF-9500-WK25-1 is a freestanding induction wok with the Helios Touch display. A curved high-temperature glass-ceramic bowl cradles an induction-compatible wok pan, and a heavy-gauge Litz wire coil heats the pan itself, not the air around it. CookTek's manual says woks run in Power Mode, so the cook sets a power level with the knob and display. It runs on 200-240 VAC single phase and plugs into a NEMA 6-20 receptacle.

Flameless wok heat
Induction heats the wok pan directly in a curved glass-ceramic bowl, with no open flame and less heat in the kitchen.
Helios Touch display
A 4.3" display with a control knob sets the power level; woks run in Power Mode per CookTek's manual.
Pan detection
Automatic pan detection sends energy only when a pan is in place, and automatic shut-off prevents overheating.
Protected electronics
Microprocessors watch for overheating and power-supply problems, and an integral fan, grease filter and air baffle keep intake air cool and clean.
Easy to wipe down
The glass-ceramic bowl and stainless housing wipe clean with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner.
Delivery and setup
- Inspect the box for damage before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
- It arrives in one box, about 18.75" x 20.75" x 9" and 24 lb.
- Have a dedicated 200-240V circuit with a NEMA 6-20 receptacle ready. CookTek says the owner and installer must comply with all local codes.
- Keep the air intake and exhaust clear; a blocked vent raises the internal temperature and triggers an error code.
Questions buyers ask
What plug and circuit does it need?
200-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, single phase, with a NEMA 6-20P plug on a 6 ft. cord. CookTek requires a dedicated circuit.
Can I set a temperature?
CookTek's manual says woks run in Power Mode only, so you set a power level rather than a target temperature.
What pans can I use?
Induction-compatible (magnetic) cookware only. Use induction-compatible wok pans sized for the bowl.
How much space does it need?
Leave 2" on the front, sides and rear. Next to a grill or stove, put a divider 6" from the unit; next to a fryer, 12".
How do I clean it?
Unplug it and let it cool, then wipe the top and body with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Do not use oven cleaner or immerse it. Remove and clean the grease filter every two weeks.
What warranty does it carry?
CookTek lists a two-year advanced replacement warranty in the U.S. and Canada. Under its Advance Replacement Program, CookTek ships a replacement unit ahead and includes a prepaid label to return the defective one.
