The CookTek SinAqua Souper SAS081-7 (675101) is a portable countertop unit that heats a 7 qt stainless steel tureen with 800 watts of induction. It takes chilled liquid foods through the food safety danger zone in as little as 45 minutes with stirring, then holds them at a set point from 140 to 200°F. There is no water to fill, no drain and no plumbing. CookTek builds it in brushed aluminum or powder-coated black or red (U.S. only); confirm the color with us when you order.
It plugs into a standard 120V NEMA 5-15 outlet, so it can move between the line, the buffet and catering events.
Rethermalizing settings run from 170 to 200°F; after that the unit holds food at a precise set point from 140 to 200°F.
Induction heats the tureen directly, so there are no water lines, drains or scorched water wells to clean.
Programmable stir notification defaults to every 4 minutes while rethermalizing and every 15 minutes while holding.
Active dry-pan protection keeps the unit from damage, and pan compensation works with magnetic and non-magnetic CookTek tureens.
A high-contrast capacitive touch panel with audible and visual cues shows the temperature at a glance.
