Edlund 625A Extra Heavy Duty Air-Powered Crown Punch Can Opener, Automatic Lid Removal, 3,000 Cans/Day
Description
Edlund's heaviest duty stand-alone crown punch: it opens and de-lids up to 3,000 cans a day with one operator.
The Edlund 625A is an industrial air-powered crown punch with a P.L.C. driven alligator lid removal system. The claw grabs each lid and drops it into a receptacle, for greater operator safety with one operator. It needs 85 P.S.I. of clean, dry air at 1-1/2 to 2 C.F.M. and draws 0.5 amp at 115-230 volts AC. Dual two-hand safety controls and a micro switch protective cover add operator safety.

Single-stroke opening
Opens each can in one stroke. Edlund rates the 625A for up to 3,000 cans per day.
Alligator lid removal
A P.L.C. driven claw grabs each lid and drops it into a receptacle for sanitary, hands-off lid handling.
Two-hand safety
Dual safety controls need both hands, and a micro switch cover stops the opener when the door is open.
Quick change tooling
Tooled for one standard #10 round can. Knife, guard ring locator and blade retaining clip change for other standard sizes.
Washdown stainless
All heavy duty stainless steel construction; the entire unit can be washed down.
Dull by design
Crown punch blades are intentionally dull for a smooth can edge. Do not sharpen them; Edlund reconditions them at the factory.
Delivery and setup
- Inspect the crate for damage before you sign, and note any damage on the delivery receipt.
- Connect only clean, dry compressed air at 85 P.S.I. and 1-1/2 to 2 C.F.M.; Edlund requires clean, dry air for all pneumatic crown punches.
- Plan a 115-230V AC outlet for the P.L.C. and order Edlund part A807, which the 625A requires.
- Tell us your can size when you order. The opener arrives tooled for one standard #10 round can unless you specify another size.
