Edlund CA-3000T Air-Powered Can Crusher, Countertop, Stainless Steel, for Taller Cans, 85 PSI
A countertop air-powered crusher that flattens empty cans so six times more fit in your dumpster and recycling bins.
The Edlund CA-3000T crushes empty cans with shop air instead of electricity. Edlund rates it for taller international cans. Place the can in the chamber, close the safety lid and press the button; the crushed can falls into a receptacle. Edlund says it is smaller than the CH-5000 hydraulic crusher but just as powerful. It needs at least 85 PSI of clean, dry air at 8 to 10 CFM.
Plan an air line from a compressor that holds 85 PSI at 8-10 CFM, and a waste container where the crushed cans drop out.
Crushes up to ten #10 cans per minute. Edlund recommends no more than 1,000 cans per day.
Cans shrink by about 85% (6:1), so you fit about six times more cans in dumpsters and recycling bins.
The chamber cover must be closed before the crusher will run.
Crush open cans without first opening the bottom.
The stainless steel cabinet and crusher box wipe down for cleaning.

Edlund lists only an air supply for the CA-3000 series. For an electric model, Edlund makes the CH-5000 hydraulic crusher.

The CA-3000 is 26" long and made for #10 cans or smaller. The CA-3000T is 30" long and crushes taller international cans. Both are 7-1/2" high and 9" wide.
Edlund lists a case weight of 108.5 lb. and 3 cu. ft. per unit.
Edlund covers its products for one year from purchase against defects in material and workmanship. The buyer returns the unit to the factory, freight prepaid.
