Questions buyers ask
What do I need to buy with the FDW?
A Titan blade cartridge with its matching pusher, plus either the Titan suction cup base (part B727) or the permanent mount wall bracket (part B725). The FDW ships without any of these.
Can I change the cut size?
Yes. Remove the blade cartridge and pusher and install another Titan set: 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" dice, 6- or 8-section wedger or corer. The blade cartridge and pusher sizes must match.
How long a potato will it cut into fries?
Up to 6-1/2" long. Edlund notes that sweet potatoes must be par-baked to soften before cutting.
How do I clean it?
Clean after every use. Put the wash guard on the blade cartridge and wash it by hand or in a dishwasher; all components are dishwasher safe. Inspect the blades for nicks and bends after washing.
Can I sharpen or replace single blades?
No. Individual blades cannot be replaced. Replace the whole blade cartridge or contact Edlund about its blade cartridge refurbishment program.
What warranty does Edlund give?
One year from the date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. Parts that wear in normal use are not covered, and the buyer returns the unit to the factory, freight prepaid.
