A continuous-duty electric cutter that turns whole potatoes into uniform fries at up to 50 lb. per minute.
The Edlund FFC-50-73201 is the FFC-50 French fry cutter. A 1/3 HP motor spins a rotor that throws potatoes through a fixed blade cartridge for even, uniform fries. It comes with the 1/2" (12mm) blade cartridge installed in the box. The housing is stainless steel with water-tight switches, and the hopper, drum and cartridge come off for cleaning.
At 120 lb., plan two people to lift it onto the counter or stand.
Continuous-duty operation cuts up to 50 lb. of potatoes per minute, for high-output kitchens.
Cartridges from 3/8" to 5/8" seat against an alignment tab and lock with two thumb screws.
The motor will not run unless the blade cartridge is seated and the hopper is closed.
Lift off the hopper, then remove the blade cartridge and rotor for daily washing.

Plug it into a grounded 120V GFCI outlet on a circuit rated at 20 amps. The motor draws 5.3 amps at 115V, 60 Hz.
Edlund rates the FFC-50 for continuous duty at up to 50 lb. of potatoes per minute. Load up to 40 lb. at a time and never overload the hopper. It works best with Grade B potatoes, up to 70 count.
Edlund lists 3/8" (10mm) BL200, 1/2" (12mm) BL201, 9/16" (14mm) BL202 and 5/8" (16mm) BL203 blade cartridges. They swap in with two thumb screws, so one cutter can make several cuts.
