The Edlund KR-700 is a stainless steel knife rack with Edlund's patented v-slot insert, which holds almost double the chef's knives of earlier racks plus 2 smaller knives, a steel and scissors in the same space. The KR-700 adds a 14" skirt that protects knives and operators from accidents, plus a stainless steel back for better sanitation. The insert is dishwasher safe and will not dull knives.
