Edlund model SG-2L is a manual can opener with a 22" long bar: the SG-2 is the all-stainless flagship of the G-2 series for lighter-duty kitchens. It comes on a stainless steel screw-down base that mounts to the work table with screws and nuts. The 22" long bar handles taller cans than the 16" standard bar.

The 22" long bar is made for taller cans than the 16" standard bar. Edlund does not print a maximum can height for this model, so tell us your can size and we will confirm it.
Edlund says a worn knife can cause metal slivers. Never resharpen it: the blade is reversible and should be replaced every 2,500 cans.
Remove the pull pin and knife holder, unscrew the gear, and brush away residue with the Edlund ST-93 cleaning brush. All parts are dishwasher safe; do not soak them. Dry the parts and coat the knife and gear with a light vegetable oil.
Edlund gives the SG-2 a full two-year warranty. Knives and drive gears wear in normal use and are not covered.
