Edlund WSC-20 OP Poseidon Submersible Digital Portion Scale, 20 lb., Oversized 10" x 6-3/4" Platform
A digital portion scale you can turn over to calibrate and dunk in the sink to clean.
The Edlund Poseidon WSC-20 OP is a submersible, self-calibrating digital portion scale with an all stainless steel body. It weighs up to 20 lb. and offers six display modes, from ounces to grams. Dual Housing Technology protects against corrosion, and the Scale Within a Scale design protects the internal parts from accidental shock. It runs on the included dual voltage AC power supply or on 4 AA batteries.
Keep it away from heat lamps and steam tables: Edlund warns heat can damage the electronics.
Enter calibration mode and turn the scale upside down. It calibrates against its own weight and batteries, and a light goes out when it is done.
A rugged waterproof design lets you put the scale under water to clean it. Unplug it and snap the power jack plug in first.
Two housings help prevent corrosion, and the Scale Within a Scale design protects internal parts from accidental shock.
Set the battery-save time, change gravity settings and turn off weighing modes your staff do not need.
Adjustable leveling feet with a bubble level keep readings true on uneven tops.
Six display options: 19 lb. 15.9 oz. x 0.1 oz.; 19.995 lb. x 0.005 lb.; 20 lb. x 1/8 oz.; 10000 g x 2 g; 320 oz. x 0.1 oz.; 320 oz. x 1/8 oz..
With the scale off, hold Tare and Units and press On/Off. Press Tare, wait for the flashing SC, then turn the scale upside down. When the green light goes out, turn it back over and press Tare.
No. Edlund designed it to be submerged in water for cleaning, but it is not dishwasher safe.
It comes with a dual voltage AC power supply, or runs on 4 AA batteries, not included. On batteries it shuts off after a time you set: 120, 240, 360 or 720 seconds, or never.
No. Edlund marks the Poseidon scale not legal for trade; use it for portion control.
Edlund warrants it against defects in material and workmanship for one year from the date of purchase. Edlund repairs or replaces defective parts; the buyer returns the whole unit to the factory, freight prepaid.
