A built-in simulated stone cold shelf without a condensing unit, made to connect to refrigeration supplied by others.
The Hatco CSSBX-3618 is a remote cold shelf with a 36" x 18" Swanstone simulated stone cooled surface that mounts from below, flush to the countertop. It has no condenser: Hatco supplies the shelf with temperature probe, an attached liquid line solenoid valve, a loose control box and a TXV valve, and the shelf can be cooled with other refrigerants. The evaporator load is 1,347 BTU/hr, which your refrigeration contractor sizes the remote system for.
Measure the counter opening before ordering: the cutout sizes above are what the shelf drops into.
No condenser is included, so the shelf can run on a remote or rack system using other refrigerants. A liquid line solenoid valve is attached to the shelf; evaporator load is 1,347 BTU/hr.
A patented thermal break cuts condensation and cold transfer onto the countertop around the shelf.
Foodsafe Swanstone simulated stone in Ash Gray, with Birch or Ice at no charge when ordered. It matches the Hatco GRSSB heated stone shelves.
An electronic temperature control box with on/off switch comes on a 4 ft. lead wire, so it can mount on the cabinet front away from the shelf. Auto-defrost can be set on site.

The control box and solenoid valve draw 12 W and 0.1 A at 120V, 60 Hz. An electrician wires the supply into the control box.
