Makes a 24" x 19-1/2" section of a stone countertop a cold serving surface, with the refrigeration placed where your design needs it.
The Hatco CSUR-24-I mounts directly against the underside of a granite, quartz or approved solid-surface countertop and chills a 24" x 19-1/2" area through it, so the counter keeps a seamless look. It is the remote version: the condensing unit and the electronic temperature control box ship loose, so a fabricator can place them where they fit best. The R-513A condensing unit has a 1/5 hp compressor with sight glass, service valves, dryer/filter and receiver for easy service. Refrigeration and electrical connections between the parts are made on site by a qualified installer.
Brace the countertop if needed so it carries the shelf and its contents.
The aluminum shelf presses against the underside of the top and chills a 24" x 19-1/2" area through it, with no cutout in the countertop.
An electronic temperature control box with power on/off switch and digital controller ships loose for mounting where staff can reach it.
The 1/5 hp R-513A condensing unit has a sight glass, service valves, dryer/filter and receiver.

Thermal mastic caulk and a single-use applicator come with the shelf to bond it to the countertop.

Hatco approves granite and quartz up to 1-3/16" thick, Swanstone, and certain stainless steel or aluminum surfaces. Contact Hatco for any other material.

120V, 60 Hz, single phase. Hatco rates the condensing unit at 300 W and 3.8 A with a 1/5 hp compressor.
CSUR models include a remote condensing unit. CSUX models ship with the control box only and connect to a condensing unit supplied by others.
Hatco covers it under its limited warranty, 18 months for components not listed separately. An additional four-year parts-only warranty on the compressor can be added at purchase.
