Makes a 36" x 15-1/2" section of a stone countertop a cold serving surface, with the refrigeration placed where your design needs it.
The Hatco CSUX-36-F mounts directly against the underside of a granite, quartz or approved solid-surface countertop and chills a 36" x 15-1/2" area through it, so the counter keeps a seamless look. It ships without a condensing unit: it connects to a condensing unit supplied by others, which lets a fabricator run several cold pieces from one system or use other refrigerants. A liquid line solenoid valve is attached to the shelf, and the electronic temperature control box and TXV ship loose. All refrigeration and electrical connections are made on site by a qualified installer.
Brace the countertop if needed so it carries the shelf and its contents.
The aluminum shelf presses against the underside of the top and chills a 36" x 15-1/2" area through it, with no cutout in the countertop.
An electronic temperature control box with power on/off switch and digital controller ships loose for mounting where staff can reach it.

No. The CSUX ships with the shelf, an attached solenoid valve, the control box and a TXV. It must be connected to a condensing unit supplied by others. Choose the CSUR version if you want Hatco to supply the condenser.
Hatco lists the evaporator load for this shelf at 1,183 BTU/hr. Your refrigeration contractor sizes the condensing unit from that.
The solenoid valve and control run on 120V, 60 Hz; the valve is rated 12 W, 0.1 A. Power for the condensing unit depends on the unit you supply.
Hatco covers it under its limited warranty, 18 months for components not listed separately.
