A 72-inch glass pass-over sneeze guard for a staffed serving line, with a glass top shelf for passing plates across the food.
The Hatco Flav-R-Shield ED20-07212 is a stationary full-service pass-over sneeze guard for buffet lines and serving stations. It measures 72" wide and 12" deep from center post to center post, in 2 bays, on 18" high posts. Glass face panels, a glass top shelf and two end panels are 3/8" tempered glass held by 1" brushed SAE 304 stainless steel posts. 2" stainless finish flanges with tight-fitting covers hide the mounting screws and make the base easy to wipe clean.
Measure the counter: the outside end panel width is 74-3/8".
A 3/8" tempered glass top shelf sits on the posts above the glass face panels, so staff can pass plates over the guard.
Face panels, top shelf and two end panels are 3/8" tempered glass with 3/4" radius corners and flat polished edges.
2" stainless steel finish flanges with tight-fitting flange covers hide the mounting screws and maximize cleanability.
1" diameter brushed SAE 304 stainless steel posts, 18" high, mounted to the counter through the flanges.
Hatco offers post heights from 12" to 30", face panels 8" to 54" per bay, 1 or 2 shelves, square corners, a light bar and black posts.
The ED20-07212 is 72" wide and 12" deep center post to center post, and 74-3/8" wide outside the end panels. The posts are 18" high.
The top shelf is part of the pass-over design, but the Hatco installation guide says not to place anything on top of the sneeze guard because it is not designed to be weight-bearing. Check with Hatco for your use.
The Hatco spec sheet shows the NSF Component mark and the safety glazing certification council mark. Hatco notes 18" end panels are required to meet NSF standards and that side panels may not meet NSF standards. This model is 12" deep, so check the end panels with your health inspector before you order.
Stainless steel, natural and engineered solid stone, and laminate countertops. Hatco recommends 2" long #8 countersink screws for most surfaces; fasteners are not included.
Clean it daily. Spray cleaner onto a non-abrasive cloth, never straight onto the guard, then wipe it down. Abrasive cleaners or cloths can scratch it and void the warranty.
