Hatco ED20-12015 Flav-R-Shield Full-Service Pass-Over Glass Sneeze Guard, 120" W x 15" D, 3 Bays
A 10 ft. glass sneeze guard with a top shelf that protects food on a full-service buffet line or serving counter while staff pass plates over it.
The Hatco Flav-R-Shield ED20 is a stationary full-service pass-over sneeze guard. The ED20-12015 spans 120" from center post to center post in 3 bays, is 15" deep post to post and stands 18" high. It is built from 3/8" thick tempered glass with radius corners and polished edges on 1" brushed SAE 304 stainless steel posts. It mounts to stainless steel, natural or engineered stone and laminate counters.
Allow for 122.375" outside width: Hatco adds 2-3/8" to the center-of-post width for the end panels.
Face panels, top shelf and two end panels are 3/8" (10 mm) tempered glass with 3/4" radius corners and flat polished edges.
The glass top shelf gives staff a surface above the food well for passing plates over the guard.
1" diameter SAE 304 brushed stainless steel posts carry the glass on integrated glass clips with nylon set screws.
2" diameter stainless finish flanges have tight-fitting covers that hide the mounting screws and make the base easy to wipe clean.
Hatco builds the Flav-R-Shield ED20 in the USA. The spec sheet carries the SGCC safety glazing and NSF Component marks.
120" wide and 15" deep, both measured from the center of one post to the center of the next, and 18" high. The outside end panel width is 122.375".
Hatco says 18" end panels are required to meet NSF standards. This model is 15" deep post to post, so confirm the end panel depth with Hatco before your inspection. Hatco also notes side panels may not meet NSF standards and refers to NSF guidelines.
Stainless steel, natural and engineered solid stone, and laminate. It screws down through flanges; Hatco recommends 2" #8 countersunk screws for most surfaces, not included.
Hatco says not to place anything on top of the sneeze guard because it is not a weight-bearing component.
Hatco builds custom ED20 versions with post heights from 12" to 30", per-bay panels from 8" to 54", one or two shelves, right, left or no end panel, above or below counter flanges, square glass corners, a light bar and black powder coated posts. Those are separate custom orders.
Hatco lists a one year parts-only warranty for the ED20.
