A 144-inch, 25-inch-high fixed glass sneeze guard that shields food on a full-service buffet line or serving station.
The Hatco Flav-R-Shield EP5-144 is a stationary full-service pass-over sneeze guard for buffet lines and serving stations. It spans 144 inches from post center to post center in 4 bays and stands 25 inches high. It has a glass face panel and two 18-inch deep glass end panels. The 1/4-inch tempered glass sits on 1-inch brushed 304 stainless steel posts that screw down to stainless, stone or laminate counters through covered 2-inch flanges.
Mark the post positions before you drill: the guard needs 146" of counter length at the outside flanges.
Panels are 0.25-inch thick tempered glass with 0.75-inch radius corners and flat polished edges for a clean look.
1-inch diameter SAE 304 brushed stainless steel posts carry the glass.
2-inch diameter stainless steel finish flanges have tight-fitting covers that hide the mounting screws and make the base easier to wipe clean.
Mounts to stainless steel, natural and engineered solid stone surfaces and laminate countertops.
The EP5-144 is 144 inches from post center to post center, 146 inches at the outside of the flanges and 142 inches between the inside of the flanges. It is 18 inches deep and 25 inches high.
It mounts to stainless steel, natural and engineered solid stone and laminate countertops. Screws are not included; Hatco recommends 2-inch long #8 countersink screws for most surfaces.
Hatco says the 18-inch end panels meet NSF requirements. For NSF compliance, seal the set screw heads with NSF-approved silicone and keep the bottom edge of the end panels no more than 1-1/2 inches above the counter.
Hatco builds custom Flav-R-Shield configurations, such as other panel sizes, black or other post finishes, square glass corners, light bars and above or below counter flanges. Those are made to order as separate units; ask us for a quote.
Clean daily with non-abrasive cloths and cleaners. Spray the cleaner onto the cloth, not onto the guard. Hatco says abrasive materials scratch the finish and void the warranty.
Hatco lists a warranty of one year, parts only.
