A doorless heated merchandiser that keeps packaged hot food warm behind a curtain of warm air, so customers can grab it and go.
The Hatco Flav-R-Savor FS4HAC-3626 is the 36.8-inch-wide model of the FS4HAC heated air curtain line. Warm air is forced down in front of the opening and drawn to the back wall, so it holds wrapped or unwrapped food at serving temperature without front doors. Full glass sides and LED lighting show the product, and staff restock from the back through sliding glass doors. It runs on 120/208-240V and draws 13.8 amps.
Drafts break the air curtain: keep it away from fans, drive-thru windows and doors, and have a grounded receptacle that matches the 14-20P plug ready before it arrives.
Warm air flows down through ducts at the front opening and is drawn slowly to the perforated back wall, warming each shelf without front doors.
Set the cabinet from 60°F to 170°F; it comes set at 165°F. The keys lock after 30 seconds to stop unwanted changes.
Full glass sides with larger cutouts and LED lighting show packaged items from the front and sides.
Staff restock from behind through sliding rear glass doors. Self-closing rear French doors are a factory option for the FS4HAC-3626.
The shelves, sign holders, product stops, dividers and glass end panels lift out, and a removable crumb tray catches debris. The interior is stainless steel.
Comes with sign holders, 6 product stops and 15 product dividers to keep items in lanes.
Warm air is forced down across the front opening and drawn to the rear wall, which creates a curtain of heat. Keep food fully on the shelves so it does not block the air curtain.
A grounded 120/208-240V receptacle for the NEMA 14-20P plug. It draws 3340 watts and 13.8 amps. A NEMA L14-20P locking plug is an option ordered with the unit.
The digital controller sets from 60°F to 170°F and comes preset at 165°F. Allow 60 minutes to heat up before loading.
Indoors where the room stays between 70°F and 113°F, at least 1" from combustible walls. Avoid fans, hoods, air conditioning ducts, exterior doors and drive-thru windows, because moving air disturbs the curtain.
Black powder coat is standard. Hatco lists Warm Red and Stainless Steel exteriors and self-closing rear French doors as factory options, ordered at time of purchase only. Non-standard colors are non-returnable.
Yes. Hatco offers a digital display monitor as an accessory. It needs the digital monitor brackets, which must be ordered with the unit.
Hatco lists an 18-month limited warranty from shipment or registration, whichever is later. Metal-sheathed air heating elements get 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Bulbs, LED tubes and glass are excluded.
