The Hatco FTBR-2 is a remote drop-in frost top for a 2-pan serving counter. Its NSF 7 approved cold wall keeps pre-chilled food cold without drying it out. The R-513A condensing unit ships loose and can be field mounted up to 50 ft of tubing from the frost top, and the control panel ships loose on 9 ft probe wires. That keeps compressor heat and noise out of the counter. A qualified installer makes the refrigeration and electrical connections; the condensing unit runs on 120V.
Cut the counter to the cutout range, not the outside size: the frost top drops in and its rim rests on the counter.
The cold wall construction keeps food product cold without drying it out.
Recessed walls hold 2 full-size 18" x 26" sheet pans or half-size 18" x 13" sheet pans and stop them from sliding.
An advanced electronic controller with auto-defrost is programmed at the customer location.
A 1" brass drain with flat strainer lets pans sit flush and makes cleaning easier.

It holds 2 full-size 18" x 26" sheet pans or half-size 18" x 13" sheet pans. Hatco sells matching full-size (18" SHEET PAN) and half-size (ALUM PAN) sheet pans as accessories.

FTBR models include a remote R-513A condensing unit. FTBX models ship without one and connect to a condensing unit supplied by others.
Hatco covers it under its limited warranty. An additional four-year parts-only warranty on the compressor can be added at purchase.
