The Hatco FTBX-S3 is a remote drop-in frost top for a 3-pan serving counter, shipped without a condensing unit. Its NSF 7 approved cold wall keeps pre-chilled food cold without drying it out. Slim models turn the pans lengthwise, long side to the customer, for easy reach. A solenoid valve is attached to the frost top, and the control panel ships loose on 9 ft probe wires. It connects to a condensing unit supplied by others, which suits multi-piece counters on one refrigeration system. A qualified installer makes all refrigeration and electrical connections.
Cut the counter to the cutout range, not the outside size: the frost top drops in and its rim rests on the counter.
The cold wall construction keeps food product cold without drying it out.
Recessed walls hold 3 full-size 18" x 26" sheet pans or half-size 18" x 13" sheet pans and stop them from sliding.
An advanced electronic controller with auto-defrost is programmed at the customer location.
A 1" brass drain with flat strainer lets pans sit flush and makes cleaning easier.
