A 18" stainless steel overhead warmer that holds hot food at serving temperature under a shelf or pass without further cooking it.
The Hatco GR-18 is the 18" standard watt Glo-Ray infrared strip heater in a stainless steel housing. A pre-focused heat pattern from a tubular metal-sheathed element covers the entire holding surface with no cold spots. It is rated 250 watts and comes in 120, 208 or 240V single phase; the voltage is set when you order. It is hardwired as standard, with an On/Off toggle switch and 3 ft. of conduit with leads.
A cord and plug set, stands and remote switches are factory options; order them with the heater.
The Glo-Ray heat pattern covers the entire holding surface with consistent temperatures and no cold spots.
The housing is stainless steel; Hatco says to contact the factory for stainless marine applications.
The reflector does not blacken, so the heat pattern stays consistent over time.
A reinforced wire guard protects staff without affecting heat distribution, and heavy-duty insulation cuts heat loss.
It is factory assembled with mounting tabs, an On/Off toggle switch on the chef's left side and 3 ft. of conduit with leads on the server's right.
It is single phase, 250 watts, in 120, 208 or 240V, chosen when you order: 120V 2.1 A; 208V 1.2 A; 240V 1.0 A. It comes hardwired with 3 ft. of conduit with leads.
Yes, as a factory option. Hatco offers an attached 6 ft. cord and plug set on models up to 72" wide, used with the chain mount kit or C-leg or T-leg stands. On 120V the plug is NEMA 5-15P.
Hatco recommends 8" to 11" above the food for standard watt Glo-Ray units.
