A 21-1/2" overhead infrared warmer with display lights that keeps plated food hot at the pass or on a front-of-house counter.
The Hatco GR2AL-18 is a Glo-Ray Designer aluminum strip heater with lights, 21-1/2" wide, in the standard watt version. Pre-focused heat and special reflectors keep food at serving temperature without cooking it further, and 2 shatter-resistant incandescent lights light up the holding area. It is rated 370 W and is built for 120, 120/208 or 120/240V single phase, chosen when you order. A Hatco remote control box (RMB) is required and sold separately.
Hatco recommends a single unit for 12" to 16" deep pass-through areas; use a dual unit for 18" to 24".
Specially designed reflectors direct the heat onto the holding area, so food stays at serving temperature longer without cooking further.
2 coated incandescent display lights, one per foot, guard food if a bulb breaks; halogen bulbs or Chef LED bulbs are options.
A continuous aluminum housing, 21-1/2" wide in one piece, eliminates sagging.
Housing, inset panels, stands and RMB box come in seven Designer colors; black inset panels and corner caps are standard. Designer colors use antimicrobial paint.
The non-adjustable Designer stands conceal the power wiring; 4" overhead mounts can replace the stands.
Choose 120, 120/208 or 120/240V single phase when you order. It draws 3.1 A at 120V, 2.2 A at 120/208V and 2.0 A at 120/240V. On 120/208V and 120/240V units the lights run on a 120V circuit and the heating elements on 208V or 240V.
No. Hatco requires a remote control box (RMB), sold separately. Order one RMB per heater, or an RMB2 box to run several warmers from one box. Toggle switches handle up to 15 A and infinite controls up to 12.2 A.
Hatco lists a heating element height of 8" to 12" above the food. Keep it at least 17" above combustible surfaces and 6" from combustible walls. Allow 15 to 20 minutes to reach operating temperature.
Yes, at the time of purchase only. Housing, stands and the RMB box come in clear anodized aluminum (standard) or Warm Red, Black, Gray Granite, White Granite, Navy Blue, Hunter Green and Antique Copper; inset panels are black unless you pick another color. Non-standard colors are non-returnable. Ask us for a quote.
Yes. Hatco Chef LED bulbs (CLED-3000-120 warm or CLED-4000-120 cool) fit GR2AL and GR2AHL models, rotated down.
Hatco's limited warranty runs 18 months from shipment or registration, whichever is later. Metal-sheathed food warmer elements have 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Coated light bulbs are not covered. Register within 90 days of shipment.
