A Glo-Ray Designer strip heater with display lights that keeps plated food hot and well lit at the pass or buffet line.
The Hatco GR2AL-66 is a standard-watt Glo-Ray Designer infrared strip heater with lights, 69-1/2" wide and 11.91" deep in a continuous aluminum housing. It is rated 1,460 watts and has 5 coated shatter-resistant incandescent display lights over the holding area. It comes on 14" Designer non-adjustable stands with black inset panels and corner caps; the remote control box (RMB) is ordered separately.
On 120/208V and 120/240V units the lights run on a 120V circuit and the heating elements on 208V or 240V, so plan the wiring with your electrician.
5 coated shatter-resistant incandescent bulbs light the food and guard it from bulb breakage. Halogen bulbs, extra lamps or no bulbs are factory options.
A tubular metal-sheathed element and pre-focused heat pattern hold food at serving temperature longer without cooking it further.
The continuous aluminum housing spans the full 69-1/2" width without sagging. Aluminum finish is standard; seven Designer colors are options.
14" Designer non-adjustable stands are standard; 10", 12" or 16" stands or 4" overhead mounts can be ordered in their place.
7-1/2" or 14" sneeze guards, on one or both sides, can be added for self-serve lines.
A remote control enclosure (RMB). Hatco sells the heater without controls: order one RMB per heater, or an RMB2 that can run several heaters when their combined amps stay under its rating.
Single phase, wired in by an electrician: 12.2 A at 120V, 8.1 A at 120/208V or 7.3 A at 120/240V, 1,460 W. Voltage is chosen when you order.
Hatco recommends the element 8" to 12" above the food, 12" to 14" wide target area. Keep it at least 17" above combustible surfaces and 6" from a combustible wall or adjacent surface.
Aluminum finish with black inset panels and corner caps is standard. Housing, inset panels, stands and the remote box come in Warm Red, Black, Gray Granite, White Granite, Navy Blue, Hunter Green or Antique Copper; dark gray corner caps are optional. Non-standard colors are non-returnable.
Hatco covers the metal-sheathed heating element for 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Other parts carry Hatco's 18-month limited warranty from shipment or registration, whichever is later; bulbs and glass are not covered.
