Hatco GR2SDH-24D Glo-Ray Designer Horizontal Dual-Shelf Merchandising Warmer, 30-1/4" Wide, 1640 W, 120V
A horizontal two-level heated merchandiser that keeps wrapped and boxed hot food on show and at serving temperature on the counter.
The Hatco Glo-Ray Designer GR2SDH-24D is a 30-1/4-inch-wide countertop merchandising warmer with flat, horizontal shelves and two heated holding levels: a heated base and a heated center shelf, each with its own temperature knob and on/off switch. Pre-focused infrared heat from above aims at the outer edges of the shelf where heat loss is greatest, so wrapped or boxed food holds at serving temperature. It runs on 120V, draws 13.7 amps and comes with a 6 ft. cord and NEMA 5-15P plug.
Check that the counter can carry about 126 lb. shipping weight plus food, and keep it away from fans, hoods, air conditioning ducts and exterior doors.
Pre-focused infrared elements above the shelf direct heat to the outer edges of the holding surface, where heat loss is greatest.
A thermostatically controlled, hardcoated heated base runs from room temperature to about 185°F to 200°F. The center shelf has its own knob and switch.
Flat shelves hold boxed or wrapped product level for self-serve or kitchen-to-server holding. 10 divider rods sort the display.
4 coated incandescent display lights show the food and protect it from bulb breakage.
Clear anodized aluminum with black inset panels is standard. Six designer colors and inset colors are factory options.
Turn it off, let it cool and wipe it with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner. Tempered glass side panels lift out.
Hot wrapped or boxed food that is already heated to a safe temperature, such as sandwiches, pizza slices in boxes or packaged entrees. Do not put food directly on the hardcoat surface.
A grounded 120V receptacle for the NEMA 5-15P plug. It draws 1640 watts and 13.7 amps. Hatco's Canadian model uses a NEMA 5-20P plug.
The heated base and center shelf run from room temperature to about 185°F to 200°F, set with separate knobs on the back control panel. Allow 30 minutes to heat up before loading.
Each heated level has 23.87" x 22" of usable heated shelf space (W x D), two levels in all. 10 divider rods split it into lanes.
Clear anodized aluminum with black insets is standard. Warm Red, Black, Gray Granite, White Granite, Navy Blue, Hunter Green and Antique Copper are factory colors; non-standard colors are non-returnable. Hatco lists a 5" sneeze guard, plexi-glass flip-up doors, front glass in place of the divider rods, a 60 W halogen bulb and an LED indicating temperature control as factory options, ordered at time of purchase only.
Hatco lists an 18-month limited warranty from shipment or registration, whichever is later, and its manual covers the metal-sheathed heating elements against breakage and burnout for two years. Bulbs, glass and fuses are excluded.
