A slim curved strip heater with built-in LED lights that warms and lights food on a buffet or serving line, with the infinite control box in the box.
The Hatco GR5AHL-24 is a 24" high-watt Glo-Ray curved infrared strip heater with dual LED light channels, only 2" high and 6" deep. It is rated 506 watts and runs on 120, 208 or 240V single phase, chosen at order. The included RMB5-1R remote box has an electronic infinite heat control from 0 to 100% and a power on/off switch for lights and heat, so you can run lights only, heat only or both. Warm white LEDs are standard, and the clear anodized housing can be ordered in Designer colors or Gloss finishes.
The LED leads are 18" longer than the power leads (6-1/2 ft. standard), so plan the run from the heater to the control box location.
The patented curved aluminum housing is 2" high and 6" deep, so it fits tight spaces under shelves and sneeze guards.
A tubular metal-sheathed element and pre-focused heat pattern hold food at serving temperature longer without cooking it further.
Energy-efficient LED channels run the full length and are field replaceable. Warm white is standard; cool white or dual warm/cool white are options.
The RMB5-1R box has an electronic infinite control from 0 to 100%, an on/off switch and indicator light. Use lights only, heat only or both.
Clear anodized is standard. Seven Designer colors and five Gloss finishes are options, with end panels and brackets in the unit color.
Yes. The RMB5-1R remote box comes with it: electronic infinite heat control from 0 to 100%, a power on/off switch for lights and heat, an indicator light and the LED driver. An RMB5-2R box can run two units at the same settings.
Single phase, wired in by an electrician: 4.3 A at 120V, 2.5 A at 208V or 2.1 A at 240V, 506 W total. Voltage is chosen when you order.
Warm white (2700-3200K) is standard. Cool white (4000-4300K) or dual warm/cool white that toggles between the two can be ordered. Hatco suggests warm white over heated wells and shelves.
It is a high-watt unit, so install it in non-combustible surroundings only, at least 10" above the surface. Hatco recommends 13" to 16" above the food.
Yes. Hatco sells curved tempered glass sneeze guards for the 24" size, 24" deep x 4-1/8" high: SG5-24-BA with black anodized hardware or SG5-24-CA with clear anodized hardware.
Hatco covers the metal-sheathed heating element for 1 year parts and labor plus 1 more year parts only. Other parts carry Hatco's 18-month limited warranty from shipment or registration, whichever is later; bulbs and glass are not covered.
